Chinese Almond Tofu (Summer dessert)

Jump to recipe

You may not know this summer dessert : Chinese Almond Tofu. It’s so refreshing, perfect for warm days!

It’s easy to make, flourless, light, and slightly sweet. It looks like a milk Jell-O but with more taste and less sugar! You can pour any kind of infusion you like, I’m sure it could be perfect with a nice homemade iced tea too 😀

I like adding some fruits to add a bit more sweetness to the dessert 🙂

  • 4 g Agar
  • 1 tsp Almond extract
  • 2 tbsp Blond Cane Sugar

Herbal tea

  • 2 tbsp Dried blackcurrant leaves + dried Hawthorn leaves or any other herbal tea you like. I chose these ones because the flavors are sweet and floral.

  • Put all the Tofu ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a slow boil on medium heat.
  • Continue cooking while stirring for 5 minutes.
